Bathroom reveal
A complete bathroom renovation
Our old girl was in much need of a facelift. It wasn’t terrible, but when you looked closely it was poorly renovated, a poor choice of fittings and tiles that were so cold you’d run on them in the winter.
We faced a few challenges including replacing the subfloor, all the pipes and the water main, and the COVID-19 lockdown (we have no ensuite so it was bucket showers the whole time). We had done so much planning and organising so it really tested our time frames and tradie availability.
DIYing the demo, build, painting and plastering was a real learning curve but we made great use of manufacturers guides on youtube and asking our pals on Instagram. The end result is something we couldn’t be more proud of, knowing our hard work made this all come to life is the reward. Our theme of earthy boho is present in all the detail and fittings is so calming and complements the design throughout our home.
